Born and raised in Stoughton Massachusetts, Marcus has always had a passion for film and making movies. He grew up watching a wide range of films that would eventually lead him to creating one of the biggest horror review sites of the early millennium, KICK ASS HORROR REVIEWS.
After moving to New York and graduating from New York Film Academy, Marcus started working in the film industry full time. Working on films and TV shows such as THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, THE AMAZING SPIDER MAN 2, PREMIUM RUSH and TV shows such as GOSSIP GIRL, MYSTERIES AT THE MUSEUM and indie films like DISAPPEARANCE OF ELENOR RIGBY, and ANGRIEST MAN IN BROOKLYN. He has since gone on to direct, write and produce.
Marcus has just finished his first feature film and directed over 16 Short films with his most recent being THE LAST CALL starring Terry Alexander from DAY OF THE DEAD, THE AUDIT starring William McNamara and David Morwick as well as being in post on the feature film NICK AND NICKY which stars Sean Young and a TV PILOT called A BEAUTIFUL DISTRACTION starring Adrian Paul, Vivica A. Fox and Deborah Twiss. Marcus is currently prepping to begin production on a new horror film called DEAD AIR which he wrote and will direct.
