Marcus graduated from the School of Film and Media Studies, Ngee Ann Polytechnic in 2018 with a diploma in Mass Communication.
Marcus’ production experience includes producing a film by director Florina Titz in 2024, serving as Assistant Technical Manager for the third media event at National Day Parade 2024, and recently contributing as the Associate Projection Designer on Puana, a theater production at The John F. Kennedy Theater, University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa.
As producer, Marcus worked on two dance films, “Apple Diary” and “B(_).I( _).O(_).”, as part of Frontier Danceland’s SIDES 2020. He was also line producer for "Dancing with Light', the first-ever projection mapping show as part of Esplanade's 20th-anniversary celebration, directed and conceptualized by Sally Lee.
Marcus has also been heavily involved in the multimedia production of National Day Parade 2020 and 2021, working alongside Creative Directors Royston Tan and Boo Junfeng. In 2022, he was hired as the Assistant Multimedia Producer of the National Day Parade where he facilitated the production of various multimedia videos.
He worked closely with production houses such as Zhao Wei Films, Onedash22, Robot Playground, Finding Pictures, and CraveFX to ensure that products such as the NDP Music Video, NDP Showfilms, and animated Motion Graphics for the live audience meet the direction of the Show Creative Director and Multimedia Directors.
Marcus is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Arts in Cinematic Arts at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. He is dedicated to refining his craft and is passionate about producing impactful stories that push the boundaries of societal norms.
