Marco Pollini (Verona, 22nd November 1973) director, producer, publisher and author since 1999 deals with audiovisual production. He has produced records and videos of various international artists including Marie Claire D'Ubaldo, Corona, Fatman Scoop, Carl McDonald and Italians including Jo Squillo, Gerardina Trovato, Federico Poggipollini, Phonica, Riccardo Polidoro and many others.
He has directed many music videos and documentaries not only in Italy but also in South America and the United States. "Le Badanti" is his first fiction feature film, presented at the Venice Film Festival, at the 68 Cannes Film Festival / Marche 'du Film and released in Italian cinemas on 11 June 2015. The Badanti has been sold in Latin American countries. Moda Mia, his second feature film, has been released in Italian cinemas in March 2017 and presented at the Efm Berlinale 2017 and selected for the Festival of the book and the story "Children of Truffaut in Bari" and Mexico's Urapan.
In July 2017 he released his first book on independent cinema for FalsoPiano Editore.
