I don't make movies to make money, I make money to make movies.
Manuel Saldaña was born and raised in Hartford, CT and as far back as he could remember, he always wanted to be a storyteller. In his younger days he would write and draw his own comic books full of character development and story lines, so he's been writing stories for most of his life. His dad gave him a super VHS camera for his 6th grade graduation and the rest is history. He couldn't afford to go to film school, so he ended up going to Manchester Community College where he got his degree in communication media, close enough right? He kept learning about film making online and in 2015 he got to intern on an actual film set. He then was able to finally shoot his first short film that same year. From there he has written, produced, directed, and edited 6 short films and has no plans of stopping as film making is his life's calling.
