My work combines directing and participatory methods, using documentary cinema as a tool for listening, education, and the creation of new social narratives.
I am a student of Media and Film Studies at the University of Calabria, having previously earned my degree in Media and Digital Society with a focus on Cinema and Media. I'm also director about documentaries and also I am in editorial office for the film magazine Fata Morgana Web, where I write also about documentary cinema. My commitment to film criticism and festival life includes serving as a juror for Venezia Classici at the 80th Venice International Film Festival, for the online press jury at the 2024 Lucca Film Festival, and as a member of the youth jury at the 62nd Pesaro International Film Festival of New Cinema (2026). My current research and creative work continue to focus on documentary filmmaking and participatory cinema.
