Manish Kumar Verma – affectionately known as MKV – is an Indian director, producer, actor, and writer. I was born in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, and currently reside in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

Early Life: In my family, I am fondly called by my nickname Manjeet Singh (Manjeet). My father worked in the education department, and my mother is a homemaker. I completed my studies with a B.Tech in IT.

Career: I began my career as an artist. In 2013, I made my first appearance as a co-star in a short film called "Without Documents", and later worked in an ad film. After that, I went on to act in various short films. Alongside my job in Mumbai, I started working as an assistant director. In 2014, I got the chance to play the role of the hero's friend in a horror film titled "Revenge". Following this, I played a comedic cop in "Wrestler: The Power of Bull," which marked a special moment as I saw myself on the screen for the first time.

Later, I directed my first film, "Toilet: Ek Pratigya", which was a government project focused on cleanliness, supported by the former District Magistrate of Hathras, Mr. Amit Kumar Singh. This film received recognition at both state and national levels. Subsequently, I directed multiple short films and music albums based on various government schemes.

In 2018, I directed a Hindi feature film called "Boss: Climax Abhi Baaki Hai," which focused on themes of education and corruption. This film was released on Amazon and Hungama OTT platforms. I produced many film projects under the MKV ARTS FILM banner. In 2019, I began planning the "Sukanya" web series, completing its shoot in 2020. The "Sukanya" series was released on the Hungama OTT platform, where it trended as a popular show. Additionally, it is available on four other OTT platforms.

As a producer and director , I also wrote the "Kamakshi" web series, which has been filmed and is set to release soon.

Current Project: I am currently working on a Hindi thriller movie titled "Siharan," for which I have done both the screenplay and direction. This film will soon be released in theaters.
