“Make News” the screening series presented by Minorities In Film returns with a bold new theme: "VISIONS FOR THE FUTURE." We’re calling on filmmakers with bold imaginations and radical visions of what’s next. Make News, Make Noise is a showcase, not a festival— a gathering of storytellers exploring the future through sci-fi, speculative fiction, and boundary-pushing narratives. Whether your film dreams of utopia, warns of dystopia, or reimagines the world as we know it, we want to see it.

Ask yourself: What does the future look like? Who gets to shape it? How does technology, climate, identity, or resistance play a role?

This year, we are excited to curate programming in New York City, Los Angeles and Atlanta which will champion sci-fi, forward-thinking, visionary films.

We will utilize an AI detection system to ascertain if AI predominantly created the content (greater than 25%).

What an AMAZING experience this truly was. Everything from communication to promotion to execution of the screenings was so well done, and it was all in the first year of the festival. Thanks again for having us :)
