Maja Rachtan is an animation student at the Abakonowicz University of Arts in Poznań. She had spent her childhood in Upper Silesia. In 2025 she helped create the Kryklok fundation meant to support and cultivate Silesian culture in Poland. Her animations marry different techniques, from digital hand-drawn to stop-motion sand animation.
