Madeleine Sophia Wilson is an 18-year-old filmmaker from the East Bay. She is a producer, director and Creative Producing major with Dodge College of Film and Media Arts within Chapman University. Previously, Madeleine attended the highly acclaimed Communications, Arts & Sciences (CAS) small school at Berkeley High School.

At Berkeley High, Madeleine led the photo section of the award-winning newspaper, The Jacket, running a team of over 25 student photographers. Madeleine also held the role of Business and Outreach Editor for the yearbook, promoting and growing sales among students, parents and businesses.

Madeleine's talent and dedication to filmmaking has garnered recognition through various accomplishments and awards; “Student Documentary Best Film Award” at the Jackson Doc Fest, "Best First Time Filmmaker Award” at the Bridge Fest Film Festival, "Special Awardee" at the Bay Area Creative Youth Awards, and “Official Selections” from San Francisco Frozen Film Festival, Hollywood Gold Awards, Florence Film Awards, British Columbia Teen Film Festival, New England High School Film Festival, The Girl Improved Film & Television Festival, Grand Laurel International Film Festival and more.

Madeleine has been a member of the Reel Stories and BAVC communities since middle school, serving as a counselor, student board member and intern. Madeleine was also a film creator with Future Filmmakers, CSSSA, BCM and a youth juror with SFFILM.

As an aspiring film director and producer, Madeleine constantly strives to build her resume and gain valuable experience in the film industry. She is always on the lookout for unique opportunities, thoughts and ideas to pursue and further her career goals.
