Maciej Marczewski
Film and theater director, actor.
A graduate of the acting department at the Theater Academy in Warsaw, Poland and of the feature program for directors at Wajda School.
Director and writer of a short movie „Games” for which he was awarded as the best director at the International Film Festival "La Cabina" in Valencia.
He also directed two theater plays „Mulholland Drive - part 3” and „Antigone in New York” in Horzyca Theater in Toruń, Poland.
His latest short film is called "My Coffin" and is loosely based on a short story by Émile Zola called "The Death of Olivier Becaille".
As an actor, he appeared in over 30 films and worked with such directors as Peter Greenaway, Andrzej Wajda, Krzysztof zanussi or John Kent Harrison.
