Martin J. Thomas is an award winning filmmaker and also holds the esteemed position of Festival Director at THE UK FILM AWARDS. As a Director, Producer & Screenwriter, Martin made his start in the film industry in 2006 when he began working on several short films and a television pilot for a major television channel. Then in 2008 Martin decided that he wanted to develop, direct and produce his own feature film content. Martin began writing his own stories and screenplays, with many of them traveling as far as the United States and reaching several top US Talent Agencies, Agents, Managers and Actors.

Martin has since worked on both independent and major feature films such as: THE UNDERDOG, THE BAG, SOHO, WORLD WAR Z, WRATH OF THE TITANS, THE LAST SEVEN and JACK SAID.

Martin and his team are working on two feature film projects that are intended for his 2026 to 2027 slate.
