POLISH SUBTITLES: All foreign language films must have Polish subtitles included at the time of submission. Submissions with only English subtitles (or no subtitles) will be automatically disqualified.
MISSION & THEME
The "Immaculata" Festival is a specialized event dedicated to Christian values and Evangelization. We are looking for works that:
- Bring the Gospel into culture and promote Christian ethics.
- Highlight the dignity of the human person, truth, and beauty.
- Present the lives of Saints, Church history, or modern testimonies of faith.
- Serve as a tool for evangelization through high-quality media.
SUBTITLES REQUIREMENT:
All foreign language films must provide Polish subtitles (or a synchronized .srt file) for the final screening.
PROHIBITED CONTENT:
We do not accept works that promote violence, hatred, or values contrary to the Christian vision of humanity.
ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
The International Catholic Festival of Film and Multimedia “Immaculata” (formerly “Niepokalanów”) was founded in 1986. It is organized by the Catholic Film Association of St. Maximilian Kolbe – the first Catholic association of the faithful registered in Poland after the political transformation.
Each year, the Festival gathers filmmakers and audiences from around the world to celebrate works that combine artistic excellence with spiritual depth. In 2026, the Festival will take place in Ołtarzew, Poland, under the patronage of the Primate of Poland and the Polish Episcopate.
