We screen DCPs and will accept other common digital formats. Please work with us to ensure your work is displayed in the best way possible.
SUBTITLES
For international entries - if your entry contains spoken dialogue not in English, we require you to supply English subtitles either encoded on a DCP or provided for the submission screener on Film Freeway.
AI POLICY
The MISE Film Festival will accept AI-assisted and AI-generated works. However, the festival holds the position that all AI-generated works (GenAi) must meet a standard of creative quality comparable to that of traditionally created work.
We require that AI use be declared upon submission, and please note that AI use will be stated in a disclaimer when the submission is screened at the festival.
The determination of this standard will be at the sole discretion of our head curators. Ultimately, decisions on AI use will be made by the festival coordinator.
