The Lysistrata Comedy Festival is a three day comedy festival celebrating the collective power of women. Inspired by the play Lysistrata, we want to see all the things that women can accomplish when we work together.

Have you made a film or a live performance piece about your experience as a woman in the world? We want to see it! Short films, sketch comedy, burlesque, improv, stand-up - we're accepting submissions of any type of performance medium, as long as it fits under the genre of *comedy*. We'd especially love to see work that addresses serious topics such as: biology, spirituality, intimacy, family dynamics, gender, history, theology, socio-economics, sexuality, etc. in a humorous way, and strongly encourage women of color and people with marginalized genders to apply.

This festival will take place March 18-20 in New Orleans, a city that's rich in creativity, amazing people, and some of the best food in the world. We hope you join us!
