Luminosa is a International Film and Audiovisual Festival exclusively dedicated to LGBTQIA+ productions.

In its inaugural edition, the Festival will spotlight powerful narratives that defy conventions, bold aesthetics that break away from the mainstream, and voices that illuminate the dissident landscapes of Brazilian and world cinema. Beyond the screenings, the festival will offer educational and training activities focused on the development and empowerment of LGBTQIA+ individuals within the audiovisual field.

The entire program will be free to the public and will take place in September 2025 at Sala Walter da Silveira, a culturally significant public venue in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil.
