Luigi Benvisto is an award-winning Italian cinematographer, screenwriter, and director with over a decade of experience in visual storytelling. Born and raised in Italy, he later moved to the United States, where he has worked on numerous film, television, and commercial projects.
A member of AIC (Italian Association of Cinematographers), IMAGO (European Federation of Cinematographers), and IATSE Local 600, Luigi has built a career around capturing compelling narratives through a strong visual style and emotional depth. The projects he has worked on have been recognized internationally, earning awards such as the Student Academy Award and the Golden Eagle Award, and featuring in major film festivals, including Sundance, Cannes, and the Venice Biennale.
In addition to his directing work, Luigi is an accomplished cinematographer and camera operator, with extensive experience in both narrative and documentary filmmaking. He has worked across the U.S. and internationally, collaborating with a wide range of talented professionals in the industry.
