Born in Germany 6/5/1949. Family settled in Adelaide, Australia in April 1950 and automatically attained Australian Citizenship. Primary education: North Adelaide Primary School. Secondary education: Adelaide Boys' High School 1962-1966. Won Commonwealth Scholarship for free tertiary studies. B.Sc. (Math. Sc.) 1978. Taught maths & physics for 20 years. Senior maths co-ordinator at Cabra Dominican College from 1974-1980. Founding Principal of Muirden Matriculation College & maths, physics teacher 1981-1989.

Made a short Hitchcockian style thriller film (title: 10 O'Clock) in 1965 (age 16) with my brother but it was to be another 50 years before starting on the Bombshell screenplay. Bombshell (working title) => The Kaiserhof Hotel is a true story incorporating a little artistic licence. Won 11 screenplay awards including in Ukraine and Israel.
