We are Lucas Buchholz and Bernd Brink, and together with our team, we have created numerous award-winning corporate design programs and brandings at the intersection of pop, entertainment, and enjoyment. More than 80 of the most prestigious international design and film awards since 1995 underscore the quality of our work.

Weissraum has been closely connected to electronic culture since the early 1990s. From club culture (starting with the legendary Hamburg Unit Club) to the design of countless releases by Superstition, Poker Flat, and Senso Sounds, to label and artist branding for Karl Bartos (formerly of Kraftwerk), Yello, Oliver Huntermann, Steve Bug, and Extrawelt. Whitenoise is Weissraum's independent audiovisual project. Here, we think »out of the box« and playfully explore the boundaries between design, media art, and music. From idea to finished product, everything remains in our hands, with the goal of giving our thoughts and artistic expression a platform.

Our current project is the RE-Cycle. »REsignation or REsistence—given all the dystopia that surrounds us. What (artistic) material are we made of? Is technology the solution or merely a postponement of problems? Still human or already machine? What values should prevail in a future reality where this boundary is increasingly blurred? The individual audio-visual videos address these questions in diverse yet always newly interpreted ways. Themes such as the environment, human interaction, and our behavior in relation to reality are explored. In words and images, in sound and sound – as techno tracks, as independent audio-visual projects. Recognize it!"

Awards: The music videos RE, FRAGILE, and MOVE have won over 40 prestigious international film awards. These include Best Experimental Video, Best AI Film, and Best Editing & Sound Design at festivals in Hollywood, Los Angeles, New York, Cannes, Venice, London, and Berlin.
