🇬🇧 Lovers Goes Industry takes place in the framework of TFI - Torino Film Industry, with the backing of Associazione culturale Drugantis and in partnership with Museo Nazionale del Cinema, Lovers Film Festival and Film Commission Torino Piemonte.
For the forth year it will provide an opportunity for professionals involved in the world of LGBTQIA+ cinema to meet and exchange ideas. Directors, distributors, producers and festival delegates from all round the world will come together in Turin for one day, Thursday the 23rd of November, 2023.

The aim of this absolutely unique project is to establish a forum for the networking that is essential for those working in the LGBTQIA+ sector of the cinema industry, a forum which no other festival in Italy can offer.

🇮🇹 Lovers goes Industry si svolge dentro la cornice dei TFI - Torino Film Industry.
Arrivato alla sua quarta edizione, patrocinato dall’Associazione culturale Drugantis e in partnership con Museo Nazionale del Cinema, Lovers Film Festival e Film Commission Torino Piemonte, si propone come momento di incontro e di scambio per l’universo cinematografico LGBTQIA+ e per i professionisti del settore. Registi, distributori, produttori, festival delegates di tutto il mondo, si riuniranno a Torino giovedì 23 novembre 2023.

Il progetto, unico nel suo genere, ha come fine ultimo quello di costruire a Torino un luogo di networking fondamentale per l’industry che lavora nel cinema a tematica LGBTQIA+, non presente con questa struttura in nessun altro evento di market in Italia.

Awards & Prizes

🇬🇧 The winner of “ Work in Progress - WIP” will be awarded a mentorship with an industry professional to assist with the international distribution of their film project.

🇮🇹 Il progetto vincitore di “Work in Progress - WIP” riceverà una mentorship da parte di un professionista del settore per la distribuzione internazionale del proprio progetto.

Rules & Terms

🇬🇧 “Work in Progress - WIP” category accept applications for feature length fiction films or documentaries already under development (i.e. at a stage that can be called a work in progress) where part of the footage shot is ready for viewing or the movie is in post-production. In any case filmmakers must be able to present some visual material during their pitch. The movie project must not have entered into any agreement with a distributor or sales agent.

The deadline is October the 31st.
Selection of the participating projects and directors will be completed by a specially convened selection committee by the 6th of November.

Participants must pay a € 10.00 registration fee.

🇮🇹 La categoria “Work in Progress - WIP” è riferita a lungometraggi di finzione e documentari già in fase di sviluppo (in una fase, appunto, work in progress) che abbiano pronto una parte del girato complessivo del film o in post-produzione. In ogni caso devono essere in grado di presentare del materiale visivo durante il Pitch. Il progetto non deve essere ancora legato a un distributore o sales agent.

La call chiuderà il 31 ottobre, con selezione dei progetti e degli autori entro il giorno 6 novembre da parte di una commissione di selezione appositamente istituita.

Il contributo di iscrizione richiesto è di € 10,00.
