Welcome to LOVE STORY FILM FESTIVAL. If there’s one thing we all enjoy, it’s a decent love story. One that fills our hearts with the joy, hope and despair of human attraction. One that inspires us with wonderful characters and a gripping plot. This can be a narrative drama, a documentary, a dance or music video, animation or LGBTQ story.

The festival is organized by the successful New Renaissance Film Festival, ranked in London METRO’s list of TOP UK FILM FESTIVALS and in the top 100 best-reviewed film festivals on FilmFreeway. NRFF has screened world and UK premieres and films that went on to win an Oscar or secure theatrical release!

Our passion is to tell great stories. Our philosophy is to nurture extraordinary talent.

We focus on the ARTIST, on the STORY and on building an international COMMUNITY of inspiring storytellers.

This third edition of the festival will be held in London, a city known for its diversity and innovation in the creative arts, in February 2021.

Please read our festival terms and conditions before making your submission through FilmFreeway. Films that are selected for the festival will be notified at least 6 weeks prior to the event.

I had such a great experience at the Love Story Film Festival on so many levels. Jan and Massi are incredibly charming and welcoming. They are also film makers in their own right. They skillfully curated a festival of high quality films which incorporated different types of story telling so that many different genres were represented making the experience rich and thought provoking. It is a cinematic treasure trove!
The festival is well organized and allowed me to interact with other film makers in an easy manner. It was an honor for my film Gifts Of The Heart to win the Romantic Short category. I actually met a producer afterwards who was interested in another project I am attempting the get funded and he now has my new script for review. All in all an amazing experience: I would highly recommend the festival!

  • This was an amazing experience. Definitely a go-to Festival for filmmakers and audiences. Jan and Massi made an incredible effort to make everybody feel welcomed and chose a variety of shorts and features that makes you enjoy the day even more. Winning the Best Student Film Award for our film "A Taste of Yellow" on top made it just a journey worth taking. I'm looking forward to return and if this festival expends to two or more days it would be even better. Thanks for everything.
