Festival Descriptions and Goal;

The 2022 Love International Film Festival (LIFF) will focus on bringing films and filmmakers from the international community whose work we feel brings the world closer together and promotes love and healing through cinema. All proceeds for the 2019 LIFF will be given to the Lotus Light Children’s Charity.

LIFF’s 2022 festival will be held on zoon due to the covid 19 as we learned only few film maker could or wish to attend. We promise after this year LIFF will go back to it regular format, with screwing the film and have the award night with attendant as 2016 to 1019 were. We hope you will be patent and stay healthy.

Awards & Prizes

Award;

LIFF will give awards in two categories:

A- General category;

Despite LIFF focused is on children and love of children, however LIFF does not want to limited films just related to children. We wish to reflect love, Peace and Tolerance and Acceptance through the word. Therefore will consider all film as long as they are reflecting Family value, love, Peace, acceptance, Tolerance, Friendship and introducing intercultural value.

LIFF Wishes to expose children and the issues they deal with day to day and help to love and give love to them. We wish to bring the children together and encourage them to make a movie. So we have created a Youth Award only which will go to the youth film maker and artist.

Additionally, special awards will be handed out during the Awards Show to individuals and artists for their tireless work with charities. These awards include:

The Female Humanitarian Artist of the Year Award

The Male Humanitarian Artist of the Year Award

The Spirit Love Ambassador Award

The Peace Ambassador Award

The Courage Award

Rules & Terms

All screeners must be online and submitted through FilmFreeway or provided through an online link such as Vimeo or YouTube to info@liff.info.

Features must be at least 60 minutes but not be longer than 160 minutes.

Short films must be under 50 minutes.

All communications between LIFF and film contestants must be VIA email. So if you change your email address please provide LICFF with your new email address.

Film must be in English or with English subtitles.

You may submit more than one film. There must be a separate entry for each submission. Second and subsequent submissions by the same director or producer will be half the required fees. Please provide your submission number with your second or subsequent submission.

Immediately after your submission, you will get an email confirming for your submission with a submission number.

If your film is accepted to screen at the festival, you will be asked to provide:
-Two (2) DVD or Blu-Ray copies of the Film
-Full production credits and director’s biography requires.
-A brief synopsis of the film.
-A trailer for your film that is less than 2 minutes in length in digital file format (.mov) in H.264 or Apple Pro Res file format.
-A poster for the film.

Submission fees are non-refundable.

Only film with paid entry fees will be permitted and consider for completions -- NO EXCEPTIONS.

DVDs are not returned.

Love International Film Festival reserves the right to decline any film/material. We also reserve the right to select a winner in all categories at any stage after the deadline based on the number of the entries in each category.

Accepted films by LIFF only means the film is selected to go to the judges for review. The film which will be selected to be screen or nominated for final companions will be select among the accepted film and will announce in June 2019.

    I had the pleasant surprise to find that filmmakers who are so far from the traditional cultures and superstitions of my country (Romania) appreciate my work. Since this is the second time one of my films has been awarded at this festival, I hope to have the opportunity to get to know them personally soon. Once again, it shows that love knows no borders!

During this crazy time of COVID, LIFF did a fantastic job communicating with us filmmakers. We've still yet to meet in person, but we look forward to joining the festival in person in the future.
