London-based filmmaker Louis Mas presents BEAUGAN, filmed in an abandoned town in the Japanese countryside, with clothes provided by Japanese brand, BEAUGAN. A founding member of the Parisian creative studio La Ligne Bleue, the filmmaker first wanted to collaborate with BEAUGAN after being drawn to the boldness of their style and their unwavering connection to nature. Shooting their new collection outdoors, on 16mm film, allowed the images to unearth the details of the mud-dyed garments, creating a richness of colour and giving space for natural imperfections.
