The Lone Star Festival of Film* is part of an overall concept on Texas Creatives: Authors, Artists, Musicians and Filmmakers. The films we are wanting to present have either been made in Texas, or are based on books written by Texans.

A single room has been set up for the first year's event to showcase short, full-length and related films during the Lone Star Festival.

*Please note that our film festival is in Austin, TX, and we are NOT affiliated with the Lone Star Film Festival in Fort Worth, Texas.

Rules & Terms

All entries submitted testify that the majority of the film was created either in Texas or based on a book written by a Texas Author.
