Live Soundtrack is a monthly film music / audio-visual event, incepted as a continuation of Kino pleme , now-defunct analog film lab, previously based in Inex Film in Belgrade, Serbia. Lab has produced several films on Super 8mm and 16mm and couple of a/v perfomances, while Live Soundtrack has become its regular program in 2014 and is still active and continuing to grow.
Live Soundtrack can be described with epithets of adventurous programming and spirit of re-discovery. Through screening rarely seen works of short experimental cinema and animation from around the world, event has brought together musicans from electronic, ambient and electro-acoustic circuits, and established an atmosphere of synaesthetic happenings and synthesis of sounds in a manner which links it to the scoring of more forward looking works of cinema. During the course of over 80+ events, 180+ musicians and visual artists from 16 countries have performed on the event.
Permanent program manager / curator at the event is Marko Milićević, co-founder of the lab, a filmmaker, musician and music journalist.
Programs are non-competitive
