Lisa Danker is an experimental and documentary filmmaker who often shoots her films on Super 8 and 16mm, and whose films explore intersections of place, history, and identity. Her most recent film, Beneath a Glass Floor Lobby, played in seventeen festivals and screenings, in Barcelona, Dresden, Toronto, and throughout the United States. She holds an MFA in Film from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee and is currently an Associate Professor in Film at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, where she teaches courses in experimental cinema, film theory and history, and general film and video production.
