Lisa Burkhardt Worley is the founder of Pearls of Promise Ministries, a ministry that helps women overcome past dysfunction in their lives, through media, books, blogs, Bible studies and conferences. She is a Documentary Film Producer and Executive Producer and Co-Host of a topical television and radio show called POP Talk, now seen on fourteen television platforms. Lisa, a Jewish believer, created the documentaries in an effort to fight antisemitism and to bridge the gap between Jews and Christians. Her first documentary, The Resurgence of Antisemitism in the United States: How Did We Get Here and How Do We Stop it?, was named a finalist for “Most Inspirational Documentary” at the International Christian Film Festival. Her second documentary, Terror in Toulouse, retells the story of an antisemitic attack on a Jewish high school in Toulouse, France in 2012 and examines the state of antisemitism in France today. It recently won an award at the Online Christian Film Festival. Her third documentary, Bridging the Gap in the Holy Land, was filmed in March, 2023 in Israel and describes how Christians and Jews are educating each other about their respective beliefs.

In addition, Lisa spent almost twenty years as a television sportscaster, is a conference speaker and ten-time award-winning author of ten books and a Bible study, including her most recent award-winning book, The Root that Never Died: A Christian Woman’s Journey Back to Her Hebraic Heritage and a previous award-winning book: The Only Father I Ever Knew: How a Fatherless Child Finally Found True Love.

Lisa earned a Masters of Theological Studies degree from SMU Perkins School of Theology in 2008, and after being called back to her Jewish roots in 2014, returned to school and is a third-year doctoral student in Messianic Jewish Studies at the King’s University.
