Linn Obrestad is a multidisciplinary artist and filmmaker who work with experimental film, visual art, and poetic documentary. With a background in both fine arts, science, and media studies, her practice explores the intersections of science, ecology, art, language, and perception, often drawing on scientific concepts as metaphors for personal and collective experience. Obrestad’s films embrace both analogue and digital techniques, weaving together found footage, in-camera experimentation, and literary fragments to create layered, immersive works that challenge the boundaries between reality and imagination.
