Light in the Dark Fest (https://www.lightinthedarkfest.com/) is an online indie art festival with an additional short film contest component.
Light in the Dark Fest's mission is to unite DIY artists and enthusiasts in Community, Connection, Creativity, and Compassion through an online indie digital art festival. Light in the Dark Fest was started during the global pandemic and aims to provide a virtual, participatory, art experience.
Guidelines for the short film contest:
Create a short indie comedy, action/ adventure, or drama film up to 4 minutes. This means no documentaries or horror films, sorry.
1st place: $50 and the first-place winner’s short film will premiere within the Light in the Dark Fest 2021 festival footage video reel during the festival alongside festival musicians, visual artists, and other festival contributors!!
2nd and 3rd place: The second and third place videos will be posted on Light in the Dark Fest 2021 website!
