Now in its 11th year, Life In Motion: A Colorado Dance Film Festival has established itself as the state's first "Locals-Only" dance film festival. Hosted by non-profit dance company Life/Art Dance Ensemble, the festival features dance films created by local filmmakers/dancers/choreographers/producers, all of which are connected to Colorado in some way. We look for short films that feature dance or dancers, and which examine the ways in which choreography connects us to ourselves, each other, our environment, and our community. ALL FILMS MUST be connected to Colorado in some way. Examples of a connection to Colorado include but are not limited to:
~Performers or Production staff from or living in Colorado
~Filmed in Colorado
~Film project of a student in Colorado
~Films about issues especially relevant to Colorado communities and their concerns
