Lexi Johnson was born in Atlanta, GA. Her career in front of the camera began at four years old with commercials and print ads, but it was at the age of twelve, while acting in the film series The Sugar Creek Gang, when Lexi's passion for filmmaking really began.

It's possible you've seen her as Pocahontas in Shane Black's The Nice Guys, as Katie in The Girl Who Got Away, or as Gloria in AMC's Fear the Walking Dead. Other notable credits include This Is Us, Days of Our Lives, and Yogurt, a 20 minute short film she cowrote and starred in that had the honor of screening at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival.

Lexi has had a dream of writing, directing, and producing her own films since she took her first step on set as a kid. They Took Jacob is her directorial debut.
