Level Up - Sydney International Film Festival

The Student Film Festival in Sydney, Australia is an event organized by film and media educators from across the country to recognize outstanding student filmmakers. The festival, set to debut in 2024, aims to celebrate emerging talents and is open to student submissions or works where students have contributed significantly in key production roles. Entries are accepted when at least one member of the production team is a current student or was a student at the time of filmmaking.

Students can submit their entries in various categories and genres.

The festival conducts a rigorous competitive selection process. Students can submit entries in various categories and genres, with films being judged by industry professionals and/or festival alumni. Up to 3 films will be nominated in each category. Winning films will be screened at the festival itself, with awards presented at the festival's gala concert or delivered by mail.

The 2024 screenings will take place in mid-April as live screening.
Festival Dates: April 19th and 20th, 2025.
