Leonidas Liambeys has over 17 years of production experience on national & international co-productions, primarily in non-fiction films & TV productions, as well as multimedia exhibitions. He founded Long Run Productions in 2020. As a producer he has completed award-winning doc features and drama doc series for Greek cinema & TV. He is producing several feature doc productions & co-productions, one of which won top awards at the TiDF 2021 Pitching & 2024 Docs in Progress. In 2024, he presented Long Run’s slate at Cannes Docs. With Greek and British heritage, he combines a degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Oxford University with a BFA Diploma from the Athens School of Fine Arts. Completed films include Sylvia Robyn 2024, Venizelos, the Struggle for Asia Minor 2022, Stray Bodies 2024 (Associate Producer), as well as producing the acclaimed dramatised documentary series The Dark Decade 1964-1974 with Alexis Papahelas for SKAI TV.
