Leonardo Costa is a Brazilian screenwriter, director, and producer, founder of A7 Filmes. With a background in Economics (Federal University of São Paulo – UNIFESP) and a postgraduate degree in Cinema, he has been working in the film industry for nearly a decade.

He directed and produced the feature films The Portrait of Sarah (2024), which will have its world premiere screening at the Marché du Film 2025, and Soturno (2024), both funded through Brazilian Cultural Incentive Laws. In 2022, he directed and produced Knight on Wheels, an independent feature made with only 9,000 USD, recently signed for commercial distribution in Brazil.
