I love films. I don't think anyone on Filmfreeway wouldn't be here if they didn't. Growing up I had very few restrictions on what I could watch and when I could watch it. At a very young age I discovered horror. I then had to know how they were made, and everything that went into them. Years later I decided to go to school for special effects and soon realized I wanted to do more. I transferred to Edinboro University for film. While learning all I could I soon discovered Computer Animation and wanted to utilize that into my filmmaker background. This was my introduction into digital effects. Upon graduating I got a job at the local TV station filming and editing the news, and worked my way up to commercial producer and finally promotion producer. I had a loyal group of clients that loved my work, and even won an award for my work. My desire to be the storyteller I wanted to be forced me out. The only skill I felt I was missing was screenwriting, so I quit my job and went back to school. After a year of knocking the dust off my brain I wrote my very first feature length original screenplay, OREAD. I have recently sent my story out into the world, and I hope the world enjoys it as much as I do.
