The Lebanese Film Festival in Canada (LFFCanada) accepts Lebanese, Arab and International films. As defined by its categories, the festival also dedicates entries for films directed or produced by Lebanese & Arab filmmakers from Canada and/or diaspora countries.

LFFCanada aims to strengthen the bonds between Lebanese & Arab Canadians and their cultural roots through cinema; LFFCanada screens Lebanese, Arab & International films, or films produced by Lebanese & Arab Canadians featuring various themes and topics that appeal to the Arab Diaspora in Canada.

LFFCanada tours the following Canadian cities: Montreal & Laval, Ottawa, Toronto, Vancouver, and Halifax; and aims to eventually reach Lebanese Canadians everywhere in Canada.

LFFCanada program includes: feature and short films, fiction, animation, and documentaries.

LFFCanada, in all its chapters, offers one award as AUDIENCE CHOICE AWARD for both feature and short films category

Rules and Regulations:

Filmmakers are invited to submit their original work to the Lebanese Film Festival in Canada (LFFCanada) for the above listed categories and as per the assigned duration of each category.

1- FILMS PRODUCED WITHIN 2 YEARS FROM THE FESTIVAL DATES ARE ELIGIBLE FOR SUBMISSION.

2- Submission fees are non refundable and non reimbursable under any circumstances; LFFCanada does not reimburse any submission fees for films who are not selected for the festival program, or who withdrew their submissions at any time.

3- LFFCanada retains the right to accept or decline any film, for whatever reason, without any explanation.

4- Applicant admits that he/she is authorized to submit the film, being the rights-holder or authorized representative of the film.

5- LFFCanada receives exhibition copy in QuickTime 1080p HD 8 bit uncompressed or Apple ProRes file or equivalent via a downloadable link.

6- All films must have adequate English subtitles, French subtitles are also recommended if available.

7- Screening fees must be declared prior to or upon submission. If a screening fee is only indicated after the official selection has been announced, the Festival retains the right to revoke the film's acceptance.

8- LFFCanada holds the right to:
• Use the selected films for trailers and publicity usage
• Screen the winning films in other related events inside Canada, and recommend the winning films to other international film festivals that collaborate with LFFCanada after the approval of the filmmakers.

J’ai été touchée par la réaction du public qui semble avoir bien apprécié. Les gens en auraient voulu plus! Plusieurs m’avaient conseillé de faire une version plus longue.
