Le Festival du Film Libanais au Canada (FFLC) est une plateforme culturelle engagée qui met en lumière la richesse, la créativité et la diversité du cinéma libanais et arabe. Notre mission est de promouvoir des voix authentiques et des récits puissants issus du Liban et du monde arabe, en créant des ponts entre les cultures grâce au langage universel du cinéma.

Le LFFC célèbre les talents émergents comme les cinéastes établis, qui osent raconter des histoires fortes, souvent avec des moyens modestes mais une passion immense. Le festival valorise une grande variété de genres et de thématiques des fictions poignantes aux documentaires engagés, en passant par le cinéma expérimental et les récits intimes.

After accepting the invitation, films cannot be withdrawn from the program.

1. Submission Agreement
By submitting your film via FilmFreeway, you confirm that you have read and agreed to all festival rules and regulations. You also confirm that you hold all necessary rights, permissions, and authorizations required for festival screening and promotion.

2. Selection & Participation
If selected, the film’s participation must be confirmed within the timeline communicated by the festival.
Once participation is officially confirmed, the film may not be withdrawn from the festival program, except under exceptional circumstances and subject to festival approval.

3. Screening Rights
By submitting your film, you grant the festival the right to screen the film during the festival dates and any officially associated events.
Selected films may be screened:
• In-person screenings
• Special events
• Partner venues or touring programs (if applicable)

4. Festival Programming & Changes
The festival reserves the right to:
• Assign films to appropriate sections (competition, special screenings, etc.)
• Schedule screening dates and venues at its discretion
• Make necessary program changes if required

5. Materials & Delivery
Selected filmmakers must provide:
• Screening copy (DCP or digital format as requested)
• Promotional materials (poster, stills, synopsis, trailer, etc.)
• Subtitles (if applicable)
Failure to deliver materials on time may result in disqualification.

6. Fees & Payments
Submission fees are non-refundable.
Screening fees (if applicable) are determined by agreement between the festival and the rights holder and must be confirmed in writing prior to screening.

7. Withdrawal Policy
Films may be withdrawn:
• Before selection: anytime
• After selection but before confirmation: only with written notice

Once a film is officially selected and confirmed, withdrawal is not permitted, except under exceptional circumstances.

8. Liability & Responsibility
The festival is not responsible for:
• Technical issues with submitted screeners
• Loss or damage of materials sent digitally or physically

9. Promotion & Marketing
By submitting, you authorize the festival to use excerpts, trailers, stills, and film information for promotional purposes across media, press, and social platforms.

10. Premiere Status
Filmmakers must disclose the premiere status of their film.
The festival is not responsible for conflicts related to premiere requirements with other festivals.
