Lavendr platforms bold, independent queer cinema that challenges convention, centers LGBTQ+ perspectives, and expands the possibilities of representation.

We are not a festival. We are a curated, filmmaker-first distribution platform designed to build audience, visibility, and long-term momentum for exceptional queer films.

Each month, only 2-4 films are released on Lavendr. Selection is highly curated and guided by artistic vision, cultural impact, and craft. If your work is daring, emotionally resonant, politically alive, formally inventive, or deeply human, we want to see it.

Lavendr exists to build a movement, not to replicate the gatekeeping structures that sideline queer filmmakers.

Submit when your film is ready to launch within 3-6 months. Selection is final and at Lavendr’s sole discretion. Submission constitutes acceptance of the following requirements.
