Prolific creative, Lauri Levenfeld, is dedicated to the art of strategy, storytelling and visual narratives to inspire, celebrate, and promote conversation. Levenfeld’s profound encounter with Nelson Mandela during the filmmaking of his documentary created a paradigm shift for her career. She now uses her creative direction and camerawork to provide compassion, build community and bring positive change in the world. Lauri cofounded The Project for Women in 2014 and The Project for Girls in 2016 all emphasizing the influence and power of girls and women through her distinctive lens. She also continues to produce motion picture, fashion and portrait photography featured in publications such as Elle, Vogue, and Marie Claire. She most recently co-founded Project Mentor – a forum dedicated to mentorship for women of all ages in the creative industries.
Lauri's latest endeavors include Mad World, a fantastical, narrative short based on the design world of Nicole Sassaman to which she produced, co-wrote and directed and AgentC, a creative agency producing narrative, stills, motion and digital content for the fashion, lifestyle, beauty, film, technology and luxury industries which will launch January 2021.
