CLaurent is a French-Australian mid-career writer for the stage and screen, with more than 15 hours of scripted screenwriting credits as a writer, including international animation co-productions ‘Vic the Viking’, ‘Heidi’, ‘Tashi’ and ‘Pfffirates’ along with the iconic Australian serial ‘Home and Away’ and four produced plays under his belt, including “French Letter and Leather Cleaner” for WorldPride Sydney 2023 and his short play, "Kill Your Darlings" Finalist of the Short+Sweet Festival Sydney 2024.

His feature film scripts have been accoladed in various international script competitions and he has published four illustrated books for young readers along with a collection of 12 dystopian/sci-fi short stories, and one children picture book.

Laurent teaches screenwriting in Sydney and offers masterclasses and he is also a film reviewer on radio show ‘Cinemascape’ (Eastside FM) and co-creator/producer of the limited podcast series ‘An Ordinary Australian’.
