Laura Park is an award winning filmmaker. Her first film, Pump Action! Won first prize at the BOSTON COMEDY FILM FESTIVAL. Her documentary style work won Editors Choice Award from USA TODAY TRAVEL.

Her writing has been described as “A gem of wry observation” by Backstage West. Her performance as “Infectiously enjoyable…enormous fun to watch” by NYTheatre.com.

Laura started her career acting in Minneapolis performing at area theaters including the History Theater. She was a main stage performer with the Brave New Workshop (MN Groundlings) - Yep! She can make you a hot dish on demand!

In Los Angeles she has performed in Movies and Television alongside Jessica Lange and Wanda Sykes .

Her critically acclaimed solo show “Park and Ride” toured the country and was performed in the New York International Fringe Festival.

Laura has toured nationally and internationally as a headlining comedian for clubs, casinos, cruise ships, and our troops. Her writing credits include projects for FOX Television and yes, Playboy television - The jokes!

As a documentary film maker she traveled through Africa, Nicaragua and Costa Rica producing work for KIVA.org.

Laura has built her own production company LauraparkMedia.com producing content for The History Channel, IFC, USA Today Travel ,and anyone in Los Angeles who will hire her.
