Laura Moreno Bueno is interested in the transfiguration of audiovisual codes using digital or analogue media. She studied creation at the Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, which allowed her to continue her research into the representation of the body, as well as delving into analogue processes. She made an audiovisual diptych about crying, While the vines weep and Niobe, where she looked for a way to represent tears through movement, and carried out the installation III, an immersive journey using three screens. Thanks to the BAICC residency and the Casa de Velazquez, she made The Sound of Images, in which she converted projected images into sound using photosensitive sensors. She works by intervening analogue image and sound. Her films have been screened at festivals such as Ann Arbor, Images Festival, Ficunam, (S8) Cinema Periférico and Filmadrid, among others.
