Laura's work is grounded in gender diverse & queer storytelling. In 2017, they founded F Word Films to create stories and opportunities that challenged the male dominated landscape of the film industry.
Laura has participated in an exclusive workshop and one on one with Daina Reid, was awarded the top prize at the inaugural New Zealand WebFest Pitch Competition and is a member of the ADG (Full, Emerging) and SPA (Associate).
