Laura Bondarevsky is a film director from Argentina. She graduaded from the Instituto de Artes Cinematográficas de Avellaneda, and has been working in the film industry since 2000. She assisted renowed directors such as Juan José Campanella, Fernando Meirelles, Fernando Trueba and Bruno Stagnaro, among others.
She was awarded a scholarship by Milo Corter to develop in documentary films research and investigation.
She worked as an assistant director and screenwriter the for the Universidad Federal de Bahia (Brasil) in the series of short films “Música en América Latina”.
The Comité de la Facultade de cinema e Audiovisual de Rio de Janeiro selected her to develop and direct an investigating and writing workshop for documentaries.
Among her works as a writer and director we can cite: Panzas and Chevocachai. Her films were selected in numerous international festivals.*
Her first fiction project, Río Muerto, was awarded the Opera Prima prize from INCAA (Instituto de Cine y Artes Audiovisuales, Argentina). The film is set to start production in 2025.
He is currently working on the development of the fiction series "QUEMA COCHES," written by Luciano Bertone and produced by Navajo Films, where he will be in charge of directing the project.
