After twenty years serving as a C.B.P officer on the Southwestern border, Larry decided to try his hand at screenwriting. Four years after buying a guide on screenplay writing, he has finished five screenplays and two pilot scripts. Always in search of perfection, he uses his festival and contest contacts to hone his writing skills. A brain tumor survivor, Larry’s screenplays focus on diversity, love, and corruption. His screenplays have garnered first place finishes at the San Diego Film Awards, Las Vegas Screenplay Contest, iHolly Screenplay Contest, and Woods Hole Festival. 2018 Oaxaca Film Fest awarded Larry "Best International Screenplay." The short film, El Corredor, was Larry’s directing debut. Larry resides with his wife in La Mesa, California.
