Born in Mexico City in 1975 comes from a middle class family. Her father was a musician, mountain guide and cinema-going who had a great influence on her. During her high-school studies she starts doing theatre and taking several workshops on movies. Later, she studies photography; in 1998 she enters the Center of Cinematographic Studies at the National University of Mexico specializing in cinematography. Since then, she just work in different international and national productions.
