The Lake Oswego Film Festival is an annual event dedicated to independent cinema, held in beautiful Lake Oswego, Oregon. Lake Oswego is a vibrant hub for the arts and culture. We are excited to welcome filmmakers from all over the world to this celebration of international independent cinema. The organizers are filmmakers who have produced numerous internationally award-winning films The Lake Oswego Film Festival recognizes the hours of hard work behind every film, and we aim to recognize their creation and inspire them to continue their journey.

Trophies will be awarded to the winner in each of the seven categories.

The 2026 Lake Oswego Film Festival accepts short films with a runtime of 30-minutes or less. Works in progress are not accepted. Films completed prior to January 2024 will not be considered. No excessive nudity, violence, or language is permitted.

One entry per submission fee.

There is no premiere requirement.

Entries must be in English or subtitled/dubbed in English.

It is the responsibility of the filmmaker to clear all rights before your film screens at the festival. As the filmmaker, you indemnify and hold harmless Lake Oswego Film Festival from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screening videos entered.

By submitting you agree to grant the festival the right to use film images promotional purposes.

Fees:
Submission fees are not refundable. The festival does not pay screening fees.
