Laila Flores (she/her) is a Mexican-American actress, singer, and educator represented by District Model and Talent. After receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Music and Theatre, Laila moved to Los Angeles, CA to begin her acting career. During this time, Laila has taken acting classes, voice lessons, a musical theatre intensive, dance classes, improv, worked commercials, and has done a lot of theatre. Laila has studied with industry professionals such as musical director Patrick Vaccariello, and director/producer Jessica Orcsik, at AAFTA (American Arts Film & Television Academy). Recently, Laila was in a 10 minute play that debuted at Short and Sweet Hollywood Festival where she was nominated for her work in “El Arroyo,” directed and written by Roberta H. Martinez. When Laila is not acting, she teaches choir at a middle school, sings with the Philharmonic Choir at LAVC, and is the song leader at Faith Lutheran Church. In her spare time, Laila likes to pole dance, bake, read, and practice archery. Laila hopes to one day be able to teach theatre at a university level to students of underrepresented communities and create artistic accessibility to people of color.
