Lab 7:10 Storytelling Residency

Lab 7:10 is a one-week storytelling residency for filmmakers and writers focused on developing film ideas into structured screenplays.

Taking place in Georgia during Summer the residency offers a focused environment where participants can fully dedicate their time to their projects, away from daily distractions.

The program combines workshops, mentorship, and independent writing time. Participants will work individually and in collaboration with others, while receiving guidance from mentor Nikos Panayiotopoulos.

The residency is built around three core areas of storytelling:
– Concept development
– Story structure
– Visual writing

Through this process, participants are encouraged to explore, refine, and strengthen their ideas, with the goal of leaving the program with a clear direction or a first draft of their screenplay.

Please note:

Lab 7:10 is a script development lab, not a film festival.

We do not accept completed films in any format.
Feature-length films, short films, or any video submissions are not eligible for consideration.
