La Nuit de la Glisse has a long history of supporting emerging talent, both athletes and filmmakers. Now, La Nuit de la Glisse continues this tradition by opening the door to a new generation of filmmakers with a unique opportunity to showcase their work internationally.
• This initiative, under the label “Nuit de la Glisse”, aims to encourage young directors by providing long-term visibility through our international VOD platform and our global communication network.
• The goal is to offer these aspiring filmmakers not only a first large-scale visibility but also a gateway into the European and international action sports film industry.

Rules & Terms

SUBMISSION FORM
• The submitter acknowledges that he/she has read and understood the conditions set out below for submitting his/her Film project.

ELIGIBILITY
• Only short films about action/extreme sports or outdoor practices.
• We accept non-fictional films only.
• MAIN CRITERIA: the world premiere is required. This applies to all premieres on all media, including internet.
• IMPORTANT: La Nuit de la Glisse reserves the right to request a "recut" of the Film, for the purposes of improving storytelling, editing, sound, color grading, etc. Post-production support may be offered and, if necessary, La Nuit de la Glisse reserves the right to perform these improvements in-house at its post-production studios. The submitter agrees to make available all original sound and image rushes if a recut is required.
• No time limit a priori.
• All nationalities welcome.
• The film must include subtitles in French, German, and English (separate files).
• It is preferable that the film be in color (non-exclusive criteria).

SCHEDULING
• Selection and release timing will be determined at the discretion of La Nuit de la Glisse. Whilst every effort will be made to adhere to the announced schedule, La Nuit de la Glisse reserves the right to make changes at any time for any reason.
• The main international cinema tour will take place in November.
• Additional international screenings may be scheduled before or after the main tour.

MENTION OF SPONSORS (IF ANY)
• La Nuit de la Glisse does not authorize the use of any sponsor's logo without prior authorization.
• Such authorization is subject to the sponsors’ commitment to promote the film and its participation in La Nuit de la Glisse’s program.

LEGAL
• By submitting, you warrant, as sole and exclusive owner/s of all legal rights and titles, that you have absolute authority to submit the entry to La Nuit de la Glisse.
• You indemnify and hold harmless La Nuit de la Glisse, its sponsors, partners, directors, staff, and affiliates from any and all claims, losses, or expenses arising from the film.

PUBLICITY & BROADCASTING
• If your Film is selected, you grant La Nuit de la Glisse the right to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display publicity materials (stills, trailers, bios, etc.) in any media, worldwide.
• These rights also extend to the broadcasting of the Film on NDG’s VOD platform (or derivatives such as TVOD, SVOD, AVOD).

WARRANTIES
• By accepting inclusion, you grant NDG the right to screen your film in cinemas and to showcase it on VOD.
• You may not withdraw your film once selected.
• NDG has non-exclusive rights to repeat screenings or VOD broadcast throughout the year for promotional purposes.

ACCEPTANCE
• By submitting your film via FilmFreeway to La Nuit de la Glisse, you accept, without reservation, the terms of these Rules & Terms, which constitute the entire agreement between the parties.
