SUBMISSION FORM:
• The submitter acknowledges that he/she has read and understood the conditions set out below for submitting his/her Film project.
ELIGIBILITY:
• Only short films about action/extreme sports or outdoor practices.
• We accept non-fictional films only.
• MAIN CRITERIA: the world premiere is required. This applies to all premieres on all media, including internet.
• IMPORTANT: La Nuit de la glisse Short Film Festival reserves the right to request a "recut" of the Film, for the purposes of improving the storytelling, the quality of the cutting, the sound editing, the colour grading, etc. La Nuit de la glisse Short Film Festival offers you a postproduction monitoring. In other words, La Nuit de la glisse Short Film Festival does not accept the finished Film until it has been analysed and, if necessary, a "recut" requested. This means that the submitter agrees to make all available sound and image rushes available for recutting.

• So, further to the previous point, there is no a priori time limit.
• All nationalities welcome.
• The film must have two versions of subtitles: French, German and English (separate files).
• It is preferable that the film be in colour (non-exclusive criteria).
SCHEDULING:
• Screenings are scheduled during the Festival at the discretion of La Nuit de la glisse Short Films Festival. Whilst every effort will be made to adhere to the published schedule, La Nuit de la glisse Short Film Festival reserves the right to make changes at any time for any reason.
• The main international tour (Europe) will take place in November 15, 2024.
• An international premiere tour will take place between November 1 and November 14, 2024.
• The November tour will be followed by a series of smaller international tours.
• The film can be made also available on VOD with shared profit on the distribution channels of La Nuit de la glisse© (registered trademark).
MENTION OF SPONSORS (IF ANY):
• La Nuit de la glisse Short Film Festival does not authorize the use of any sponsor's logo without prior authorization from the Nuit de la glisse team.
• This authorization is subject to the sponsors' commitment to promote the film and its participation in La Nuit de la glisse Short Film Festival.
LEGAL:
• By submitting to La Nuit de la glisse Short Film Festival you warrant, as sole and exclusive owner/s of all legal right and title thereto that you have absolute authority to submit the entry to La Nuit de la glisse Short Film Festival. You will indemnify and hold harmless La Nuit de la glisse Short Film Festival, and its sponsors and partners, its directors, staff, volunteers, individually and affiliates collectively, from and against all claims, demands, losses, damages, costs, liabilities and expenses including legal expenses arising out of or in connection with any and all claims, including third party claims, based on films/videos/artworks submitted to La Nuit de la glisse Short Film Festival.
PUBLICITY & BROADCASTING:
• If your Film is selected, you expressly grant La Nuit de la glisse Short Film Festival the exclusive right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display any and all publicity materials related to the Film / TV / Web / VR or other artwork, including but not limited to stills, press releases, bios, and trailers, in whole or in part, without limitation to territory, and/or to incorporate said publicity materials in other works in any form, media, or technology now known or later developed.
• Extension of these rights is also given to La Nuit de la glisse© (registered trademark) for the broadcasting of the Film on VOD (or its derivatives TVOD, SVOD...), with the same conditions of duration and territory as conferred to La Nuit de la glisse Short Film Festival. In the broadcasting of the Film, the net receipts will be shared on a monthly basis between the rights holder and La Nuit de la glisse.
WARRANTIES
• You grant La Nuit de la glisse Short Film Festival the right to screen your film or video at and as part of the festival. You may not and will not withdraw your film or video from consideration once it has been selected for inclusion in the festival. And by accepting inclusion in La Nuit de la glisse Short Film Festival, you grant exclusive rights to showcase the film during as many screenings as required. In addition, La Nuit de la glisse Short Film Festival has non-exclusive rights to repeat the showcases throughout the year for fundraising and promotion purposes. All ticket sales are property of La Nuit de la glisse Short Film Festival and its affiliates.
• You warrant to La Nuit de la glisse Short Film Festival that under no circumstances will you request other broadcasting rights as a reward for using La Nuit de la glisse Short Film Festival's distribution network.
ACCEPTANCE:
• By submitting your film via FilmFreeway to the La Nuit de la Glisse Short Film Festival, the submitter accepts, without reservation, the terms of these rules as set forth in this document which constitutes the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the use of the films and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous agreements on this subject. No amendment or modification of this agreement shall be binding unless in writing and signed by an authorized representative of La Nuit de la glisse Short Film Festival.
