LGBT+ Film Festival Poland is one of the most important events on the cultural map of Central and Eastern Europe, presenting a wide variety of queer cinema which brings us closer to building a world of freedom and equality.
Bold queer artistic cinema, hits from world festivals, films by uncompromising visionaries. The cinema that gets involved in issues not only of the LGBT+ community but us all!

The 17th edition of the festival will be held in a hybrid form; the physical screenings will be held in 4 Polish cities between April 10-18, 2026 and then proceed online for 14 days, geo-blocked to Poland.
We stick to the hybrid formula which enables you to enjoy the biggest queer film art fest in Poland both at the cinema and in the comfort of your own home. We do all of that, so as many of you as possible can be carried away by the queer cinema's madness.

We are looking for:

– full-length features
– full-length documentaries
– short films (narrative, animated, documentary)

Awards & Prizes

🏆 AUDIENCE AWARD
The audience votes for and awards the title of:
- Best Feature Film
- Best Documentary
- Best Short Film

🏆 IGOR OSTROWSKI AWARD
A professional jury of renowned art and film experts will award one production that inspires and changes the way we see the world.
The Igor Ostrowski Award of €3,000 will be presented for the Best Feature Film. The Feature Films shortlisted for the Igor Ostrowski Award (qualified by the decision of the selectors) take part in the audience poll at the same time.

Rules & Terms

PLEASE READ BELOW.

1. Eligible projects must be produced between 2024 and 2026 and submitted with English subtitles, srt file. The rule applies to films in English as well.

2. Filmmakers are responsible for sorting out the copyright issues regarding their films and promotional materials.

3. By submitting a film, you grant us a consent to screen it in front of a live audience in theaters, as well as online on a VOD platform geo-blocked to Poland.

4. Filmmakers whose projects get selected for our program will be notified in advance via email.

5. NOTE!
When submitting a film, please enter all the information carefully:
- director
- screenplay writer
- cast
- music
- cinematography
- year of production
- country of production

6. A COMPLETE set of materials for qualified films (official message about the qualification of the film via e-mail in accordance with the deadlines given on the filmfreeway platform) should be sent by e-mail within the specified deadlines; materials sent after the specified deadline will disqualify the film, incomplete materials will disqualify the film.
