Be part of the conversation, be part of the storytelling. We're proud to announce the first annual LGBT Online Coming Out Film Festival. For creators it is a chance to share your stories and films. For views, especially those who might not be out, it can be a way to connect with the community and the many different ways coming out can be. The film you submit can be part of the story for another person who is considering coming out.

Movies and film have the power to connect us as a community; to share our sorrows and our victories. Our community has always had to fight to be seen, and we want you to share your vision.

We are looking for scripted films that express the coming out experience - it might be yours, others, or whatever you dream it to be.

There is no one way of coming out, or how you express your gender and/or sexuality. Each person who comes out follows their own unique path. The LGBT Online Coming Out Film Festival gives a much needed space to share our stories.

Coming out is never the same twice, each person experiences it differently, at different times of their lives, and with different people they share themselves with. It can be heart warming, it can be a comedy of errors, it can be scary, it can be heart breaking, but they are events that can shape our lives. Each story deserves to be told and we’re so glad you’re here with us on this journey.

As we gear up for the first ever LGBT Online Coming Out Film Festival we encourage you to come along with us either as a participant and submit your film, or as a viewer of these amazing films.

Plans are in the works for the ability of lively online film discussions with those in the entertainment industry and the LGBTQ+ community, for social viewing parties, and much much more! Stay tuned!
